Water Country USA getting first water-coaster hybrid with Cutback in 2019

It will be the first water coaster of any kind in Virginia, and the first hybrid water coaster on the East Coast, and it’s coming to Water Country USA at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2019!

Cutback will take guests up and down steep hills, and through tight turns of five saucers, that will bring guests to speeds of up to 35 feet per second. That’s covering a lot of ground! The new water coaster is a ProSlide RocketBlast Water Coaster, and the first of it’s kind anywhere on the East Coast. It will be a total of 856 feet long, and will drop you a total of 74 feet. The water coaster uses the newest turbine technology to blast riders off with water, to go soaring up hills.

So, what’s the big deal about the saucers? The slide will shoot you through tubes and down hills, into the saucers, where you’ll race to the top edges of the slide, before shooting back down into the next tube, and the next saucer.

Will you go racing on the edge with Cutback? It’s the latest in the annual commitments to a new attraction in every single SeaWorld Entertainment park.
