Whether you have Irish Eyes a Smilin, or are just green at heart, St. Patrick’s Day is one of the best excuses to have fun throughout the year. This year is even better, as it falls on a weekend, which naturally means a full weekend celebration!
To celebrate the fun, Universal Orlando is pulling out all the stops with tons of fun on St. Paddy’s Day. From drink specials, to food…and drink specials, there’s tons happening resort wide.
Here’s the rundown:
Universal Studios Florida:
- Finnegan’s Bar & Grill at Universal Studios Florida:This traditional Irish-American pub can be found right off Universal Studios’ New York streets – featuring authentic Irish dishes like Bangers and Mash, Shepherd’s Pie and Guinness Beef Stew. Plus, grab it with a pint of Guinness and specialty cocktails. For a festive feel, Finnegan’s often showcases live music – where you can sing along to traditional pub songs.
- Rosie’s Irish Shop:A nod to New York’s immigrant history, this charming tin-ceiling shop is stocked with apparel and keepsakes to honor your Irish heritage (or your affection for St. Patrick’s Day). You’ll find quirky tees, ball caps, barware, and more as well as traditional Claddagh rings, family crests, and decor. Stop in and see the place where Irish eyes are smiling—and guests from all over get a taste of the Emerald Isle. And it’s directly across the street from Finnegan’s!
- Mardi Gras: Okay, so not exactly St. Patrick’s Day related, but you want a party don’t you? St. Patrick’s Day will offer up Ziggy Marley at 8:30, right after the big parade, and tons of beads. Of course, Saturday will also offer a huge concert with the Steve Miller Band.
