New Spider-Man experiences will immerse you in the webslingers world at Disney Parks

The Worldwide Engineering Brigade, or WEB for short, was designed by Tony Stark to bring new high tech, ultra super powered equipment to superheroes. Or at least that’s how the story goes, as Disney is unveiling some new details about their Marvel themed experiences, which are coming to both Disney California Adventure, and Disneyland Paris.

Here’s the story:

The Avengers are setting up new Headquarters and training facilities around the globe to inspire all potential recruits willing to step up and become something more. As part of this global initiative, Tony Stark has founded the Worldwide Engineering Brigade – or WEB for short – to develop advancements in super-powered technology, including new enhancements to Spider-Man’s suit as their debut project. By bringing together the world’s brightest young inventors, the WEB is creating new interfaces that will empower all of us to join the ranks of Earth’s Mightiest.

From the sounds of it, this will be a part of the new experience overall, and will be bringing new tech to the parks to give guests an amazing new way to interact and get in on the super hero action.

Speaking of Amazing, Spider-Man will be getting an all new suit just for Disney Parks.

The new suit was designed by Ryan Meinerding, Head of Visual Development at Marvel Studios. Guests can now see Spider-Man in the new suit at Walt Disney Studios park in Paris, at Disney California Adventure very soon, and other locations in the future.

According to Ryan, “It has been the highlight of my career to design all of Spider-Man’s suits for the most recent films. Bringing him to life through Tony Stark’s capable design aesthetic was a true joy, but working with the Walt Disney Imagineering team to develop a look for Spidey that reflects the innovation of a team of young geniuses really brings him to a new level. And knowing that park guests can get up close to that suit and really take in all the detail the astounding Imagineers packed into it means that we have truly brought a new version of the character to life.”

The new tech will include an interface that combines this never before seen technology, with practical effects. It will give guests the abilities of their favorite super hero, including that of Spider-Man. This new experience will also blend seamlessly with the new Marvel lands that Disney is building in both Disney Studios in Paris, and California Adventure.
