Universal Orlando Parking Garages Reopen After Reports of Someone With A Rifle

Universal Orlando went under lock-down tonight as Universal Orlando Security and Orlando Police Department search the parking garages after reports of someone with a rifle.

At 8:38pm, Orlando Police Department responded to Universal Orlando Resort after a 9-1-1 Caller reported seeing someone with a rife in one of the parking garages. Universal and Orlando Police placed the parking garages under lock-down while they searched in both parking garages for someone with a rife.

During this time, guests were also held at Volcano Bay until an All-Clear was given and the shuttle buses to the park could resume normal operation operations back to the parking garages. Twitter users were posting photographs from Citywalk that are showing massive crowds and long lines at the Volcano Bay bus drop-off at the park.

The Orlando Police gave an all clear around 10:30pm and are still on property assisting in traffic control.
