Universal Japan brings the terror with Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights is kicking off all over the world, with Universal Orlando licking off this past Friday. There’s also another little event at Universal Japan, and we have a great look at the opening day event, which includes Japans take on Classic Monsters, Resident Evil and more.

Check out all the fun from YukenDoIt in the full video below.

This event is wild!!! The biohazard haunted houses were kind of similar but different enough that they could be considered their own thing. On the Leon side you ran into The raccoon city Police Department and you were told OK there’s zombies in this place try to make it through it. And along the way and stop at lease officers will give you information of what’s going on and also ask you to help them open doors. Zombies seem to pop out of the opposite door to where they wanted you to help.

There was a full costumed Licker and you run into Mr. X as he’s battling Leon Kennedy. You run into the rest of evil to bag of William who is in a state of mutation when you’re trying to solve a resident evil style puzzle and ends with you fighting a digital Tyrant in a digital screen almost like a shooting gallery with SMG’s.

There’s two sides, also featuring a Claire version of the attraction. The Claire section is very similar going into the raccon city police Department being ambushed by zombies running into Claire fighting mr x.

Everyone’s personal opinion, the Leon side is the breadwinner.

There’s a Cult of Chucky haunted house which is exactly the same as it was three years ago. But the most unique “standard” haunted house was Area 51 which did take a vantage of the popular read area 51 meme having bloggers covering the secrets that are inside of area 51 and saying they’re going to go raid it or in the midst of raiding it.

Turns out the aliens have already taken over the base and the 25 minute experience starts with a man telling you don’t trust anyone but me too after explaining that aliens have taken over the base turns out to be an alien shot in the face with a shadow projection a creepy Crawley thing like bug comes out of his head and is found at the room that you’re in has them crawling all over.

From there you have to solve some simple mysteries of what’s behind the tarp and once you look in alien pops out and also we’re looking for stuff to protect their heads from the head crab like monsters. There are some amazing puppets that you have to pass by and if you’re wise enough to figure out the puzzle at the very end you might be able to survive. from there you have to solve some simple mysteries of what’s behind the tarp and once you look in alien pops out and also we’re looking for stuff to protect their heads from dead crab like monsters. There are some amazing puppets that you have to pass by and if you’re wise enough to figure out the puzzle at the very end you might be able to survive But if you don’t you hijack in alien spaceship going to space in the government starts nuking every one of the UFOs, ending with an alien popping out in the cockpit and you getting hit by a missile. There’s a part of this haunted house where they say hey look over there those are the alien weapons that we’ve collected and an alien pops up behind you with a lazer gun firing at the crowd. Followed by a alien with a mini gun pointed at the audience and your guide tells you to duck down as he lays waste to everything. It was super weird.

However this year I was able to do the extreme haunted house hotel Albert II Requiem. I knew that before you walked in you had to sign a Release form because they contact you however it was more of an NDA. Which means I can tell you nothing about it. However it was similar to the experience of sleep no more in New York City.

The costumes in the scare zones this year are out of this world they still have zombies but they mix it up with monsters versus zombies so you have new ideas of what classic monsters would look like and huge mulitple person costumes roaming the park. They rethemed space fantasy in order to tell the story of how the monsters got there.
Over all it was quite an amazing time!
