The Rides and Attractions of Dark Universe

Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment: Universal’s “scariest ride ever” is coming to the Dark Universe. This motion-simulator dark ride invites guests into the depths of Frankenstein Manor. Here, Dr. Victoria Frankenstein’s attempts to control legendary monsters go awry, leading to encounters with figures like Dracula, the Wolf Man, the Mummy, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. The ride has gained immense popularity already over social media, with many calling it the most anticipated attraction in the entire theme park.

Curse of the Werewolf: A spinning roller coaster manufactured by Mack Rides, this attraction is based on Maleva, leader of The Guild of Mystics, who welcomes you to a secluded wagon camp. Here you’re warned of the creatures who prowl the deep woods. “Before long you’re riding Curse of the Werewolf – surrounded by glowing eyes and gnashing teeth, you’ll spin and weave through the forest as you attempt to escape a pack of werewolves.” It offers a family-style-yet-thrilling experience as guests navigate the dark forests and evade the grasp of the Wolf Man. Even though the track length is short on the coaster, the use of a multi-launch will make the coaster feel longer than it is. With a smaller hourly capacity than other rides, the line may be long for this specific attraction.

Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience: This interactive experience allows guests to become their own monster, providing insights into the art of monster makeup and special effects.

In addition to these attractions, Dark Universe will feature themed dining and shopping experiences, all designed to immerse guests in the world of Universal’s classic monsters.
