The area formerly-known as Future World now consists of three areas.
World Celebration
Connecting us to one another and the World around us, World Celebration consists of Epcot’s entrance plaza, which welcomes you to the park with a fountain that celebrates the past, present, and future of EPCOT. Green spaces, new pathways, and a vibrant color palette pay homage to the origins of the park.
Spaceship Earth
The iconic “Golf Ball” of Walt Disney World Orlando, Spaceship Earth is a voyage through time. The journey transforms into uniting the human experience. Custom music scores and scents fill the ride as you reflect on personal moments and ideas that define you. At the exit of the attraction, or by entering the building behind the Ball, you enter Project Tomorrow, where you can “Build, create, compete and play in a series of exhibits that bring innovative ideas and technologies to life.”
Imagination! Pavilion
The Imagination Pavilion is located on the right side of the park after entering and the building’s architecture features large geometric glass pyramids. The Pavilion hosts a number of attractions available to guests including the Journey Into Imagination With Figment ride. “Prepare for surprises galore as you travel through a series of vivid, whimsical sensory labs. Learn about all 5 senses as Figment turns the lab upside down and causes quite a stink in the Smell Lab.”
The building also houses ImageWorks, located at the exit of the attraction, featuring interactive sensory activities and games that spark creativity.
Up the stairwell located in the main gift shop, you’ll find an exclusive lounge only open to members of the Disney Vacation Club.
Just to the left of the main glass pyramids, you can find the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, an 18-minute 3D film set featuring 3 dazzling short films and in-theater effects.
Odyssey Events Pavilion
This event pavilion hovering above the water next to Test Track houses a bar and snack counter which usually has no wait, as well as a seating area.
