The commercial doesn’t officially air until September 6th, but Universal Orlando has given everyone a chance to take a quick sneak peek at what’s in store. The commercial is directed by Peter and Michael Spierig, who also directed the Vampire film Daybreakers. Pretty big names to just direct a commercial. Perhaps there’s more to this year’s event than we originally thought?
I don’t know about you, but I saw a monkey, a flashlight, and his teeth. Perhaps we will finally get a good look at FEAR himself? Probably not. However, our friend over at Horror Nights Collector has somehow found a version of the commercial that will be airing with a chance to win tickets from Ellen. This leads many to believe Ellen will be visiting HHN this year. Oh such fun!
Just wait until the 6th for the final, and presumably Ellen-less version. I like Ellen, but it just doesn’t say “Horror” for some reason.
Also released from Universal is a “video” with the conference call from last week with Universal creative.
