Busch Gardens Williamsburg announces upcoming plans during Passholder Breakfast

Passholders at Busch Gardens Williamsburg were treated to a huge show of appreciation on Saturday. The park held it’s annual Passholder Breakfast to not only show their appreciation for the dedicated ticket holders, but to also give a sneak peek of things to come. It’s an annual tradition that has been the launching point for several major attractions, including Verbolten.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg has closed out their normal daily operations for the season, but that’s not stopping the fun before the end of the 2014 season. While traditionally the park makes huge announcements for the upcoming season during the event, the largest announcement was that an all new show will be making it’s debut for Christmas Town, the annual Christmas event.

Speculation has been running rampant about an all new coaster for 2015 since plans and trademark names have been found online (click here). Construction has even begun for the all new attraction (click here). Still, no announcement was made during the event. The most likely reason is that Saturday is also the day that the annual Golden Ticket Awards were announced. The park also made the announcement that they will be making an announcement for the 40th anniversary event, which will happen in the 2015 season.

Christmas Town will see an all new show this year in the Globe Theater. The Globe Theater saw a massive new rehab when the all new London Rocks was announced. London Rocks uses high energy rock music, mixed with state of the art 3D mapping to bring the stage to life.

The new show will be called “Scrooge No More” and will feature the adventures of Eddie Kneezer, a washed up rock star who forgets the meaning of Christmas. The show will have a definite rock and roll feel, and will be a contemporary retelling of A Christmas Carol, with Ebeneezer Scrooge (I SEE WHAT THEY DID THERE!).
Christmas Town returns on November 21st for select nights. The park is also bringing back the popular Christmas Town Fun Card, which gives guests unlimited admission to Christmas Town for one low price.

Howl O Scream will see the addition of an all new Terror-tory with the triumphant return of Monster Stomp, also in the Globe Theater.
