According to fan site BGWFans, Busch Gardens briefly released a website about their all new attraction, opening this year. The park has not officially announced the attraction, but it is expected to do so this coming Saturday during passholder preview. The site was promptly taken down, but not before BGWFans was able to grab some screenshots.
The new coaster is apparently called Tempesto, and is themed to an Italian Daredevil. The signature stunt of Tempesto was to ride his motorcycle up a loop at break neck speeds. The new coaster will put you in his shoes, and give guests the thrill of being an Italian daredevil.
According to the shots, the coaster will reach speeds of 63mph, and have riders soar through a huge 154 foot loop, where they will go through a high speed inversion. The coaster will also have three different launch elements, and will have a “high speed station experience”.
If you go to Tempesto.com you get a brief message in German.
Diese Seiten sind in Vorbereitung.
Bitte haben Sie noch etwas Geduld.
It roughly translates to ” These pages are in preparation. Please be patient .”
The new coaster does not have an opening date, and we are still missing a few details. Still, it sounds like another fun coaster addition to the Busch Gardens Williamsburg family.
We will have more details on Saturday from Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
