Hold your breath, cross your fingers, here we go. The second trailer for Steven Spielberg’s and Disney’s new film The BFG has hit, and it’s full of magic and surprise. We get a little bit more of the story, and a bit more of the characters.
The film has made it’s debut at the Cannes Film Festival, and it had very mixed reviews. While the reviews are generally positive, some say that the movie is too long, and falls flat in parts. Others say that Disney and Spielberg knock it out of the park.
The film is directed by Spielberg, and written by E.T. writer Melissa Mathison, who passed away late last year. The movie is being released in the states on July 1st of this year, and will mark the 100th birthday of beloved author Roald Dahl.
The story was originally bedtime story, but was turned into a book by Dahl, who admitted that the story was the favorite story he had written.
