Jimmy Fallon’s Race Through New York Opens April 6th!

Universal is kicking into high gear in 2017 with several big events and attractions. One that is sure to be a massive hit is Jimmy Fallon’s Race Through New York. The all new attraction will take guests through the history of the Tonight Show at NBC before putting them on an all new type of attraction, and racing through New York. Thursday night, Jimmy Fallon announced just when the new attraction will be open.

Race Through New York will also feature for the first time in a Virtual Line experience for any attraction at Universal Orlando. You’ll be able to access this new system through the Official Universal Orlando Resort App on your mobile device or at kiosks located outside the attraction entrance. This will allow you to virtually wait in line while still enjoying the rest of Universal Studios.

April 6th is the huge Grand Opening date. To Celebrate, Jimmy Fallon will be going on the road with the Tonight Show and broadcasting from Universal Orlando. The last time the show did this was in 2014 for the opening of Diagon Alley, and the people he brought with him was AMAZING.

Later this year Universal will also unveil the huge new Volcano Bay, but not before celebrating Harry Potter later this month, and rolling out 50 nights of Mardi Gras, with a massive concert line up.

As for the Jimmy Fallon Ride, the new ride takes the place of Twister and gives guests the chance to ride in an all new “Flying Theater” attraction. It’s the first one in America, and it will take you on a journey through all the signature attractions of New York and see some of Jimmy Fallons most iconic characters and moments.
