That’s a wrap! Or…it will be this Sunday, as Disney’s Hollywood Studios will say a final farewell to The Great Movie Ride. The attraction is closing on Sunday, August 13th to make room for a brand new ride featuring Mickey and Minnie.
The ride is iconic, and was one of the reasons that Hollywood Studios was built in the first place. Because of this, the park is anticipating higher than normal crowds to the park. To help accommodate the extra guests, the park is rolling out some extra shows and hours for some of their attractions and restaurants.
Here’s the extra hours:
The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular-10:45 AM show
For The First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration-9:30AM show
One Man’s Dream-Park open to close
Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner opens at 9AM for breakfast on August 12th
Of course, the park hours have not changed as of yet.
Meanwhile, at Epcot, Ellen’s Energy Adventure is also closing. No one special plans have been announced for that attraction yet. Stupid Judy.
