Universal Orlando announces return of Summer Concert Series

Last summer Universal Orlando had huge success with the new Summer Concert Series, as well as the Winter Concert Series, both of which on the new Hollywood Bowl stage right underneath the all new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. It was also used for Mardi Gras the past two years. This summer, Universal has announced the Summer Concert Series is coming back.

From a Tweet on the official Universal Orlando Twitter (@UORNews):

Tomorrow we’ll share the dates & lineup for the Summer Concert Series on Twitter and Facebook (http://bit.ly/cTRS5E) first!

Why wait until tomorrow? We have a pretty good idea of who they will announce today from our friends over at Pollstar.com:

06/19/10: Pitbull

06/26/10: Earth Wind and Fire

07/03/10: Pat Benatar and REO Speedwagon

A pretty diverse and expected lineup. Of course this isn’t official yet, so it is subject to change, but it looks like this will be your Summer Concert Series especially since Pitbull, Pat Benatar, and Earth Wind and Fire have all confirmed concert dates on their sites.
