It’s everything that a bride could want. Hundreds of guests, an elaborate setting, a gorgeous cake and…chainsaws? Universal Orlando unveiled it’s first ever Halloween Horror Nights Wedding as April Richardson and Adam Cochran tied the…noose at Halloween Horror Nights on Friday.
The couple entered a contest for a “random” drawing to win the first ever HHN themed wedding. The contest was to kick off Universal’s themed weddings which are offered not only at Halloween Horror Nights, but also at more than 25 unique areas located around the park.
The couple was married in front of the “Legendary Truth” house among a crowd of Scareactors, family and friends. Once the groom kissed the bride, the chainsaws were fired up and the couple was taken by hearse to the reception through the park. They enjoyed the first class Universal Orlando catering at the reception and a wedding cake decorated in skulls and spider webs. The couple will be spending their honeymoon at Universal Orlando, and will be attending Halloween Horror Nights with their guests.

It’s not the fairy tale “Happily Ever After” that Disney offers, but it is no ordinary wedding either. Weddings can be scheduled for any of the two parks, CityWalk or any of the three hotels.
