Foodies, get your tastebuds ready! Busch Gardens Williamsburg has a real treat for food fanatics just in time for this summer. Guests will be able to take their taste buds on an international expedition without ever setting foot outside of Busch Gardens.
Beginning on Friday, May 23rd, Busch Gardens Williamsburg will be kicking off their annual Food & Wine Festival. The event features internationally-inspired menus, wines, plus other refreshments during the festival. This year, Busch Gardens Williamsburg asked their Facebook fans to choose a new, tasty line up. This year will also feature American Southwest and a Caribbean menu in addition to this year’s lineup of exotic flavors.
“Last year’s Food & Wine Festival was so popular with guests that we are adding two additional weekends to the lineup. And with the addition of two new globally-inspired menus, there is even more for guests to do, see and, most importantly, taste,” said Park President Carl Lum.
The festival will feature 14 international tasting stations through out the park that will feature different tastes from around the world. Guests will also be able to taste a splash of wine during “Wine on the Rhine” cruise. Artisans will also be turning ordinary foods into beautiful and extraordinary sculptures during the daily “Art of Food” demonstrations.
Foods will be served in generous sampling sizes and range from $3 to $7 in price. Busch Gardens is also offering a Trio Sampler for just $12 which will allow guests to sample any three entrees, desserts, or non-alcoholic beverages.
For adults, the park is also offering an adults-only sampling on the Rhine River Cruise and a Date Night on the Rhine. Tickets for the sampling on the Rhine River Cruise and Date Night on the Rhine are now available online and can be purchased by clicking here.
