The opening of the all new The Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Diagon Alley is going to be a huge a event, without a doubt. Now it’s even bigger, as Jimmy Fallon will be bringing tapings of the Tonight Show to Universal Orlando for a week of taping and a huge look at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Diagon Alley. Fallon has taken the Tonight Show by storm, and always has a large number of guests to bring with him, so the Wizarding World is sure to bring a huge array of guests.
Starting June 16th, The Tonight Show will be taping new episodes at Universal Orlando. He will be bringing Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Tracy Morgan, and more with him, and we’re willing to bet that a few of the cast members will also be on hand. The tapings will coincide with the Media Preview of Diagon Alley, which has already confirmed that some of the cast will be on hand, so there’s bound to be a ton of celebrity spottings.
As always, the show will have a live audience, and tickets will go up for reservation sometime May 21st. Keep checking the official ticketing site (by clicking here) to see when tickets are available. All tickets are on a first come, first serve basis.
Here’s a few things to know before booking tickets:
- No groups larger than four will be allowed
- No one under 16 will be admitted
- Dress code of “smart casual” will be enforced…theme park attire of t-shirts and sandals will most likely not be permitted
- Tapings will take place on Soundstage 20
- Musical acts will perform on the Universal Music Plaza Stage and its likely guests in the park while taping is happening could be able to get a glimpse of some big acts like Pitbull, though that is unconfirmed.
