Wet n Wild has more multi person thrills per acre than any other waterpark in Orlando. This summer, guests will be able to add one more to the list when Aqua Drag Racer opens. The all new slide will pit riders against each other in a speeding, dropping, twisting race to the finish. And the new attraction opens very soon!
Aqua Drag Racer will take racers 65 feet up, and send them hurtling through braided pipes, twists and turns…making it the tallest, fastest racing waterslide in Florida.
“The Aqua Drag Racer adds to our already exciting lineup of one-of-a-kind attractions,” said Michael Black, Sr. Vice President & GM of Wet ‘n Wild. “We have more rides and more multi-person thrill rides than any other waterpark in Central Florida and this new attraction offers yet another way for you and your family to share the rush together.”
The festivities will kick off June 12th, and to make the occasion, Wet N Wild will give the first 500 to enter the park a one time use Express Pass wristband. Riders will be able to skip the line to be the first into the fast lane.
The park will open at 9:30 a.m. that day.
Update 6-11-14
Due to last minute construction delays Wet n Wild will not open Aqua Drag Racer as planned on Thursday June 12th. Instead the slide will be opened as soon as possible. Anyone who won tickets to the event will be contacted regarding the delay.
