He’s mean, he’s green, and he’s about to get a lot more attitude! We’re talking about the Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure. The huge coaster has undergone a total and complete transformation, and Universal is still keeping the big green monster under wraps…until now. The park has teased that an announcement is coming soon, but what will we see? The light is just at the end of the tunnel!

Now you know we couldn’t just leave it alone, and had to analyze it just a bit further. What we saw was definitely different than what used to roar around the track.
That is the new train for the Incredible Hulk Coaster, and the emphasis is on the bright LED lights. This Hulk looks like it will light up the Orlando skyline, but mroe importantly we get what looks like a cleaner, less intrusive design than the previous coaster car.
Could we also be seeing an opening date announcement for the coaster? There is no definite date, except for “Summer”, but many are pointing to around June 24th for an opening date. Of course we have yet to see any testing, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened while the park is closed.
The new coaster is truly new, as it’s getting all new track, new trains, a new queue area, and of course those big new lights. The track layout looks to be the same, but I’m sure it’s going to be an all new beast.
