Yes chocolate lovers, National Chocolate Day is a thing…apparently. Honestly, we don’t really need a reason to celebrate chocolate. It’s just one of those things that we’re happy to have any day of the week, but if we’re going to get a whole day to celebrate it, then by all means…let’s celebrate!
Universal Orlando feels the same way, as they are celebrating the holiday with in a big way, with their all new Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. The new restaurant will take guests on a chocolate journey this Friday as they celebrate everything chocolate in a big way.
First, there’s Jacques’ Chocolate Day Special. A one day only special milkshake with white chocolate ice cream, Dutch chocolate ice cream, whip cream swirl and topped with a freshly baked black and white cookie and steampunk gear garnish. Did we mention it’s only available this Friday? Seems really unfair, because that’s an insane amount of chocolate.
Toothsome’s Milkshakes are something worth writing home about, as they have several different types and variations, including Red Velvet (our favorite) and the 5x, which is chocolate five different ways.
In addition to the huge milkshake fun, there will be sculptors on hand Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. creating special sculptures on site, live and in person, and completely out of chocolate. Artists will also be creating a huge replica of Toothsome out of 100 pounds of chocolate!
