We’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new Planet Hollywood Observatory at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World since it was announced. The wait is almost over as the restaurant has announced that reservations are now opening for guest dining, beginning December 1st. That tells us that we will start to see a soft opening probably around Thanksgiving. Click here for reservations!
So, what do we know about the new Planet Hollywood? We know that there will be four different floors of experiences in the new restaurant. One of those floors will house the Stargazer Lounge, which will feature cocktails named after space themed items like spaceships, and planets. Here’s a description of two new drinks:
“The Observatory is a sweet sip with with [sic] Stoli vodka, tangy Limoncino Bottega, Monin Peach Tea and an infusion of bubbles from Maschio Prosecco. The effervescent Sputnik combines presence, sparkling water, fresh lime juice and fragrant mint leaves.”
Also, Guy Fieri will be providing the menu with a flavor-packed burger and sandwich menu as part of their larger menu. That special Guy Fieri Menu will include the incredibly tasty looking Mac and Cheese Burger. Of course it does…would you expect anything less from Guy Fieri?
The company is also taking a queue from Universal Orlando down the street, and will be offering huge new, over the top, mason jar milkshakes. They look amazing, and honestly there’s no such thing as too much milkshake.
One of the cooler looking pieces is the “High Roller”. It’s a Ferris Wheel full of food. Come on, that’s pretty cool as you have a rotating wheel of food at Disney. That’s got to be a lot of fun.
The new restaurant will make it’s official debut sometime soon, but reservations can already be made for as soon as December 1st.
