Blade Runner is one of the cornerstones of Sci-Fi Cinema. This year, we’re finally getting a sequel to the 1982 Ridley Scott adaptation of the Phillip K. Dick novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep”. The first film is celebrating 35 years, and the new movie will pick up 30 years after the original.
Ryan Gosling plays K, a LAPD officer who stumbles on a long buried secret that threatens to throw society into chaos. K must find the original Blade Runner, Rick Deckard (played by Harrison Ford), who’s been missing for 30 years.
Hopefully this sequel doesn’t disappear…like tears in the rain. It hits theaters on October 6th.
