Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is massive at the box office right now. The superhero sequel has gotten a lot of attention, but the one character that everyone can’t seem to stop talking about is Baby Groot. While Star Lord and the rest of the gang are amazing, it’s Baby Groot that steals the show. Now, you can meet Baby Groot…oh and Star Lord too…at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.
The meet and greet is in the One Man’s Dream exhibit, and takes us aboard the Milano where we get to see Peter Quill and Baby Groot.
While Star Lord is your typical character meet and greet, it’s Baby Groot that steals the show, again. Disney uses a simple little animatronic, which works more like a small puppet. But the eyes blink, his mouth moves and it’s just enough to transport you to a world where trees talk, and kick serious butt.
The meet and greet is of a Marvel character, so don’t expect it to stick around for very long. The last Marvel character, Dr. Strange, was only around for a few weeks before it was removed. With Pirates of the Caribbean coming out with a new movie, we’ll be very surprised if we don’t see Captain Jack Sparrow taking the spot again real soon.
