Universal Orlando will unveil an all new Lagoon show this summer which will give guests an all new way to cap off their day at the resort. Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration will make the lagoon the focal point with this new show that will bring your favorite films to life.
The spells of Harry Potter will ring across the park as the roar of the t-Rex shatters your nerves and the laughter of Minions makes you giggle. The new show will also feature Fast and Furious, Transformers and more!
The show will use 120 fountains, accented by fireworks and other pyrotechnics, and will use projection mapping to bring the water and building around the lagoon to life. It’s a first for Universal Studios Florida, and should be an amazing show.
The show replaces Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular: 100 years of Movie Magic, which was amazing on its own.
Video-Remembering Cinematic Spectacular
The new show brings in the latest trend of projection mapping, for the first time on water in the park. Universal already has an amazing show featuring Harry Potter right next door at Islands of Adventure. Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle debuted last month and has been a huge hit.
There’s no word on an opening date for the new show, but it we are hearing before the 4th of July, but no promises there.
