Credit Card information potentially stolen from Disney Springs restaurants

According to The Verge, up to 2 million credit card numbers, expiration dates and customer information was stolen from Earl Enterprise, the parent company of Earl of Sandwich, Chicken Guy, Planet Hollywood and many others. The hack took place over 10 months and in 40 states.

The breach reportedly took place between May 23rd and March 18th, 2019. The breach was made using Malware installed on “point-of-sale” systems.

While the chain owns several other major restaurants, the three at Disney Springs are some of the most visited. Other restaurants include Bucca di Beppo, Mixology and Tequila Taqueria.

If you feel you might have been affected by the breach, Earl Enterprises urges you to keep an eye on your credit report, and report any suspicious charges and activity.
