Universal Orlando is about to reveal their next stage of magic to the world of Muggles, and it’s going to be one wild train ride! After the success of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, the park next door is getting a little bit of magic with the opening of Diagon Alley. We know that it’s coming, we know there will be a train, and we know there will be lots of butterbeer (or we hope!) but that’s about it. January 23rd, all will be revealed as the mischievous goblins at Universal Orlando will be taking you on a journey to find out what awaits in Diagon Alley!
On January 23rd, at 10:30 a.m. James Phelps, from the Harry Potter film series, as well as members of Universal Creative , will broadcast all the secrets of the upcoming Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Diagon Alley.

What we know so far about Diagon Alley, is that Universal will be bringing many of the shops and attractions featured in both the films and the movies to life. The Leaky Cauldron will be the featured restaurant in the area, the tavern that straddles both the wizarding and muggle worlds. Also the Hogwarts Express will take passengers from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade as guests go from park to park in a train ride through the Scottish countryside.
The rumors are also flying about faster than you can say Quidditch.
These have not been confirmed by Universal, and until they are they are just rumors. It’s very likely we will see a Gringott’s Mine Coaster, ripped directly from the Deathly Hallows. We could also see the huge dragon perched on top of the bank, billowing fire on passersby below. Knockturn Alley, and a larger Ollivander’s Wand Shop are also among the rumors.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will open this Summer at Universal Studios Florida.
