According to the official Busch Gardens Tampa Facebook and Twitter pages, the second week of the Food & Wine Festival will be without one of the headlining acts. The Goo Goo Dolls, who were expected to perform have cancelled. However, while the Saturday line up has changed, Sunday will still feature headliners O.A.R. A new band has stepped up to fill the headline for the Saturday spot!
While Busch Gardens is working furiously to find a replacement for the Saturday concert, Sunday the band O.A.R. is still scheduled to perform.
UPDATE!
Collective Soul has stepped into the Saturday spot, and will perform at 6p.m. on the Gwazi stage. The band has just released their first album in six years, See What You Started By Continuing, which is their 9th studio album. The band is known for a string of hits in the 90’s like December, Shine and Gel.
However, the concerts are not the only reason to hit the Food & Wine Festival. The biggest reason is all the amazing food. 11 Food Cabins dot the Gwazi pathway, all with different food and beverages to sample. The park also has several new menu choices, with tons of great wines to uncork, as well as a huge selection of beers on tap.
