Universal Orlando has raised the prices of their annual passes just a few months after raising the price of daily tickets. Depending on the annual pass, guests can expect to pay anywhere between 3% and 9% more per pass. It’s not completely unexpected, and follows Disney’s price increase just a few months ago.
The new price of annual passes are:
Power Pass
- Non Florida residents $254.99, was$239.99. Florida residents $234.99, was $214.99
Preferred Pass
- Non Florida Residents $344.99, was $334.99. Florida residents $309.99, was $299.99
Premium Pass
- Non Florida Residents $494.99, was $479.99. Florida $449.99, was $429.99
The Power Pass is the only pass with Blockout dates, while the Preferred and Premium Passes offer unlimited admission for a full year. Universal Orlando is also about to grow exponentially with several new attractions this year, a new hotel, and a new waterpark next year.
Unlike Disney and Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal has not gone to varying prices for one day tickets, and you pay a flat rate no matter which day you plan on going.
There is no word on whether or not the renewal rates have gone up for annual passes, but with increased pass prices, there’s a good chance that the renewal has gone up as well.
