It looks like the popular ‘Voodoo Doughnuts’ shop is making its way to California for the first time ever. If you’re a fan of sweets and treats, chances are you’ve heard of Voodoo Doughnuts which is known for their wild and wacky toppings and creations.
Based on of Portland, OR. This will be the 7th permanent location for Voodoo as the company continues to gain popularity and grow. According to this article from Oregon Live, the newest shop will be located in CityWalk near where Mario Lopez shoots Extra and will likely open some time before the giant Halloween Horror Nights rush expected every year during the fall months.
What will this mean for Lard Ladd’s Doughnuts located in the Springfield section of the park? At the moment, nothing. You will be able to enjoy both fine doughnut offerings during your stay. Currently there are no more details but we greatly look forward to this addition as Universal CityWalk in Hollywood continues it’s on-going evolution. Other new additions include a brand new Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville location, LudoBird chicken which opened recently and a complete renovation of the iconic movie theater located on the property.
