It’s certainly a first for a theme park. Next Spring, guests will be able to race through New York with Jimmy Fallon in an all new attraction. Universal has just released some of the details, and it sounds like guests will get more than just a Jimmy Fallon Ride.
Guests will walk into the Tonight Show Studio, Studio 6B. Every detail will be recreated, and guests will not only get the chance to ride, but also see television history. Cameras and props from tbe Tonight Shows long history eill be in display, as well as some of the famous suits from famous hosts. The Studio 6B Club will start off the experience, which sounds like it will be an interactive queue. You’ll get to see the Ragtime Gal Barbershop Quartet, use your iwn interactive Tonight Show Host Desk and send the famous “Thank you notes” to your friends and family. You’ll get to hang with the Tonight Show Mascot, Hashtag the Panda and even prepare for the big race with a retro racing video game.
The ride itself will be a race through fanous New York Landmarks and will include appearences from some of Fallon’s most fanous skits. You’ll gt to jam to The Roots, bop along with Sarah from “Ew” and even announcer Steve Higgins. The ride vehicle will even be a new experience as you bord the first ever “flying theater”. The 72 person ride vehicle will take guests on q ride through the Big Apple like never before.
No opening date has been set yet, but Universal Orlando is looking at Spring 2017.
