Disneyland is rolling out the Summer of Heroes, complete with an all new attraction and meet and greets. The park has given a sneak peek at an all new character that is going to be walking around the park, and it’s a little more amazing than we thought. Groot will be part of an all new dance party, Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off! Star Lord and Gamora, after escaping the Collector, returns to his fortress to retrieve the coveted, and extremely special artifact. Quill’s Boom Box…yeah.
This will have the characters dancing in the street, and will have Groot showing up towards the end of the party. Don’t worry, he’ll be…planted…for some pictures after the party ends. Hopefully you won’t…leaf…and will get to …stick… around (oh dear god these are awful), to see this amazing new walk around character. The character looks amazing from the pictures and he won’t be (last one) rooted down, like the one in Florida.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, they too have Groot, but it’s a baby version from the big screen. While he is amazingly cute, I’d much rather get to see the big guy in action.
All the fun starts Memorial Day weekend, and will also include the new Mission Breakout ride, Black Widow, Spider-Man and Captain America.
