Back in April, Universal Orlando started the process of bringing Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey into a new dimension. The ride has always been ground breaking, but now it’s a little bit brighter, crisper, and makes you feel like you’re closer to Harry than ever before. That’s thanks to the state of the art 4K-HD projectors and screens. The new projectors make everything more realistic, and brings you closer to the action.
It’s the same projectors and screens that are being used on the new Fast and Furious Supercharged. The screens give you the feeling of 3D, without the glasses.
Now, nothing else has changed. Forbidden Journey is still one of the greatest, award winning attractions ever made, and nothing about the Journey or the effects and scenes have changed. It’s just now a lot more immersive.
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is open daily at Islands of Adventure, deep within the heart of Hogsmeade.
