I was at Disneyland this past Saturday to celebrate their Christmas celebration. Main Street is set up as Christmas-y as you would see in a small town with their Christmas Tree in the middle. Supposedly later on when Christmas gets closer, it will snow on Main Street. Gotta love snow in Southern California and in the Los Angeles area.
It’s A Small World is all decked out so when you see it at night, it’s light up like a festive house you see in your own neighborhood. California Adventure is all ready for Tron Legacy where at night, part of the park is turned into a night club called ElecTRONica. It’s a great idea and they even have a sneak preview of the upcoming movie Tron: Legacy. Right out front of the sneak preview, they have a display of the lightcycle used. It was simply awesome. They even made a replica of Flynn’s Arcade where you walk inside and it is just like the arcade you see in the first movie but no upstairs. Disneyland will be having an awesome closing year with Tron Legacy, 2011 bringing The Little Mermaid ride in California Adventure, and Disneyland re-opening Star Tours.
