If you were planning on making a trip to Legoland Florida after the official grand opening this October, planning just got a little bit easier. The park released the operating schedule for most of the 2011 season through it’s official website.
The schedule is for November and December. The most noticeable thing is that the park, unlike other Orlando area parks are not open Tuesdays and Wednesdays on non-holiday (peak season) weeks. The move comes as a bit of surprise as the park is sure to be the on the lips of a lot of families.
It is unclear whether this would be the schedule throughout the 2012 season, or just for the 2011 season, being that the park is opening in October.
When questioned about it park rep Jackie Wallace would only say “We have not released our 2012 operating schedule yet.”
Our Facebook followers commented on how this doesn’t seem to be a good sign for the park, as this was a fairly similar schedule to what the now closed Cypress Gardens operated with. What do you think? Is it a bad sign or a test run leading up to a larger operating schedule in 2012? Let us know in the comments below!
The park is slated to open in October of this year.
