Ellen has been taping a show yearly at Universal for quite some time now. I can’t tell you exactly how many years it’s been now, but I can tell you this has been the second taping I’ve heard of since I moved to Florida in summer 2009.
The Ellen show is not an open seating venue and not based on first-come first-serve, like Family Feud was. Guests were required to sign up in advance for a ticket, but there was no guarantee for a ticket to the showing. Those lucky enough to get it got to see them taping the Ellen Degeneres’ show live.
If you weren’t lucky enough to get a ticket, you can view it on the air April 5th and 6th (tomorrow and Wednesday).
