Quassy Park in Connecticut has had a very good year thanks to their new little coaster Wooden Warrior. The coaster has won several different awards including a Golden Ticket, and most importantly the Behind the Thrills Attraction of the Year award. To celebrate all of this good fortune, the park is hosting “Wooden Warrior Day”.
The event will be held May 5th, and will give fans a chance to get exclusive ride time, a lunch buffet, and the chance to meet some of the designers of the coaster. Full details below:
* Exclusive ride time (10:30 a.m. to noon) on the ‘Wooden Warrior.’
* Exclusive ride time (6 to 7 p.m.) on the ‘Wooden Warrior’
* Great buffet lunch (in private area only for paid registrants) including barbecued chicken, pene al la vodka, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, beverages and more! (served noon to 2 p.m.)
* Special guest speaker from The Gravity Group, designers of the ‘Wooden Warrior.’ (During lunch buffet)
* Free ‘Wooden Warrior’ Day T-shirt for pre-paid registrants.
* All-day ride pass – so you can enjoy the other rides at Quassy noon to 6 p.m.
Now even though the event isn’t until the beginning of May, you’ll want to grab your tickets for this soon as tickets are limited. Wooden Warrior has won awards and high accolades, so coaster enthusiasts will be flocking for this chance.
