Christmas festivities are still weeks from starting, and we don’t know for sure if the Mayans are going to destroy the world, but Universal Orlando has announced the dates for next years Mardi Gras at Universal Studios Florida. On top of that, they have released one of the bands that will be performing…and they’re smooth.
Matchbox Twenty will be performing at Universal Studios Florida on Saturday March 16th on the Music Plaza stage. They are one of 14 bands playing at next years Mardi Gras.
The event will run from February 9th until April 20th. Mardi Gras features not only concerts from todays biggest area, but also a huge parade with tons of beads! On select days the park throws the biggest Mardi Gras party this side of the Big Easy.
All concerts, and parades are included with park admission, and subject to change.
