One of the many gems at Universal Studios Hollywood has always been the Things From Another World store. Formerly situated next to the Universal Studio Store, it was a popular but always cramped location, sometimes even difficult to walk in with droves of guests wanting to check out the latest in pop culture and high end collectibles. This type of store is right up my alley, so I was thrilled when I heard that they would be moving to the former GameStop location.
Inside is a nerds dream. Everything from Lego and Pop Vinyls to Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles and more. Upon entering guests are greeted by Galactus and Iron Man.
While the stores main focus of interest seems to be on Toys and collectibles, it would not be a comic-book store if they didn’t have comics. There is a back well dedicated to the most recent releases of Marvel, DC, IDW and Dark Horse comics for all to enjoy.
That does it for this look at the new Things From Another World shop. So if you’re into pop culture and nerd stuff and you happen to visit Universal Studios – Things From Another World is a great place to stop if you’re feeling financially irresponsible like myself. It’s okay to splurge every once in a while right?
