Walt Disney World’s Coolest Summer Ever Event Schedule

We are now less than 48 hours till the kickoff for the Walt Disney World’s Coolest Summer Ever. These event’s have always been a huge draw due to the combing factors of Memorial Day weekend, schools letting out across the nation for summer and the overall 3-day weekend. This year is also going to be a big year for My Magic+ and the new Fastpass+. Disney does anticipate a surge in demand and have stated even on the event page that Fastpass+ will only be available for 21 of those 24 hours long, even though usually after Wishes and the Parade usually help die out crowds as they leave for the evening.

Walt Disney World notes that FastPass+ attractions at Walt Disney World will be available only until 3:00 AM, and will not be available between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM on May 23, 2015. Costumes will again this year be permitted during the event at Walt Disney World. However, costumes should be child-friendly and adhere to any guidelines determined by Disney. Walt Disney World askes that costumes should not be obstructive, offensive or violent; drag on the ground; contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest; contain any weapons or objects which resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon. Masks may also be worn, but they must not obstruct vision, and eyes must be visible at all times. Also, guests who dress like Disney characters may not pose for pictures or sign autographs.

The Disney Parks Blog will be hosting an early breakfast at Cosmic Ray’s in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom Park that’ll include photo opportunities for 250 people and one extra guest they bring along whom RSVPs for the event. After breakfast, attendees will have the opportunity to see Disney’s mystery adventure movie “Tomorrowland” at AMC Downtown Disney 24 (transportation from Magic Kingdom Park to Downtown Disney will be provided). The Disney Parks Blog notes that to enter, send them an email titled “24 Hours in the Park,” your complete name and if you will be bringing a guest to WDWMeetUps@gmail.com, and we’ll select 250 winners. Only one guest is permitted. To find out more please click here.
