Gods and Monsters, the third largest comic book store in the world is set to have their grand opening this Saturday. Located at Artegon on International Drive, Gods and Monsters is part comic book store,part gaming lounge, part art gallery, and will host a variety nerdy events center. Its a heavily themed comic experience, you might call it Comic Con 24/7!
Stemming from nearly two decades years of comic book store experience, store owners Anna Young and Todd Fisher decided to open up one of the largest comic book stores in the world. After finding success with an indiegogo campaign and investors, their dreams have begun to take shape. Gods and Monsters will have a wide variety of standard and indie comics, Pop Vinyls, action figures, collectables and the best of board games. Nerds of all ages will enjoy a unique shopping experience with the Transmetropolitan Gallery and Offworld Lounge. There will be plenty of art throughout the store to feast your comic book loving eyes on, the checkout counter is quite the experience for Batman fans, you must see it to believe it, and we understand it was the brain child of former Universal Studios designers!
There are plans in the works for a”Blade Runner” themed snack bar adjacent to the gaming area so you never have to leave!. They plan to host unique signings with celebrities and comic artists in the near future.
