Walt Disney World successfully tested breakfast at Be Our Guest at Magic Kingdom earlier this year. The flat fee breakfast gave guests a unique dining experience, with tons of French inspired breakfasts. Now that thought is going to another restaurant, as breakfast options are being tested at the Sci-Fi Dine In restaurant for a limited time. The menu option for breakfast will be much different than lunch, and dinner, and it will be open for reservations.
The restaurant will be serving the obligatory Mickey Shaped waffles, but there is also a huge new menu that is being offered with some very unique items. The menu will include puff pastry filled with scrambled eggs, crab, asparagus and Gruyère cheese with roasted tomatoes and avocado. Or grilled beef tenderloin on baby spinach with bacon and Cheddar custard on a roasted tomato with cheesy horseradish potatoes. Or how about simple scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and breakfast potatoes platter. Guests can also choose pan seared shrimp with cheesy grits for a Southern spin, or even go for a sweet start with a macadamia-crusted brioche French toast with mascarpone and fresh berries. Of course there’s a less fancy menu for the little ones.
The prices will be $23.99, $12.99 ages 3 to 9, with breakfast going from 8-10:15 a.m. The price includes a non-alcoholic beverage, breakfast pastries and choice of appetizer, and entrée. The breakfast menu will be available for a very limited time, beginning November 1st, and going until January 23rd.
