The King’s Reign will begin at Universals Islands of Adventure this summer. When guess visit the amazing Skull Island: Reign of Kong, they will start out on a very adventurous tour tat turns bad real quick. Why so bad? Because beats will come at you from all angles. Today Universal has revealed just what kind of Beasts you will encounter.
Dinosaurs, flying creatures and massive insects all will inundate you as you try to survive the trek into the mysterious Skull Island. What kind of creatures? The ones from.your nightmares…or a previously undiscovered jungle. A new video from Universal shows off not only these new creatures, but some never before seen rode footage as well.
While rumors persist that we will see some animatronic creatures, the digital creatures look link they will actually blend in with the live set pieces of the ride itself.
The creatures are said to be intelligent, and always hungry, which means simple that they can figure out ways to eat you…so you better run. Creatures have been a big part of the King Kong series, from the Ray Harryhausen stop motion creatures, the the digital effects at WETA. It’s good to see that Universal is not only paying homage, but keeping the tradition of giant monsters alive.
