Universal Orlando has joined the masses, and now has implemented seasonal pricing. However, unlike other area theme parks, Universal Orlando’s price increase is only at the gate.
It was reported Tuesday that walk up prices were now $169 for a two park one day ticket, and $164 for a child ticket, at the gate. That’s an increase of $14 dollars.
Ticket prices will also increase $14 for a one-day, one-park ticket, with an adult ticket will be $119, and a child ticket will be $114, at the gate.
If you want to save money, it pays to plan out your vacation. Online the ticket prices have not increased (for now), and according to Universal Orlando reps, that doesn’t look to be changing any time soon.
The change comes after Disney and Universal Studios Hollywood both implemented prices for busier times of the year. It remains to be seen what the rest of the year holds for Universal Orlando ticket prices, but it’s safe to bet that the tiered pricing is here to stay.
For now be sure to book your tickets online, to save money. Also, staying a few days extra makes the daily price go down.
