Just last week the FAA gave Disney permission to start using drones in day time and night time shows, now Disney has announced that they are moving ahead with plans for a new nighttime show at Disney Springs.
The new show will be in addition to huge Christmas event that Disney has planned for Disney Springs. There are no details of when the show will start, or just what we can expect to see, but it will use technology that was revealed in a patent last year. The new technology will use drones and LED lights to create a flurry of shapes, and sounds. We can only imagine that there will be a massive soundtrack as well to help drown out the whine from the drones.
We can expect to see something testing later this month, and possibly see the debut of the new show before Thanksgiving.
