It would seem that once Halloween ends, Christmas makes it’s way into the park, like, the next day. Disneyland fans will have noticed this week that the holidays have finally made their way onto to Main Street, Toontown, New Orleans Square and much more! Let’s take a look around the park at this year’s holiday decor.
The streets of Main Street are completely decked out, minus the tree which is usually the last item to go up before the official start of the holiday season.
The inside of Main Street is looking equally as festive.
At the end of Main Street, Sleeping Beauty Castle has finally seen the last of the 60th overlay covers have been removed and replaced with the LED covered snow covers. The original castle structure hasn’t (publicly) seen the light of day for nearly two years. It’s safe to assume that a refurb will come once the snow pieces get removed.
On the westside, New Orleans Square is complete decked out for its holiday mardi gras celebration with vibrate ornaments and hanging beads.
The two remaining attraction overlays are current being installed, It’s a Small World Holiday and Jingle Cruise are expected to open within the next week or two.
Toontown and Critter Country also completely get into the spirit of things at Disneyland. Expect to find more whimsical holiday decorations at these two distinct locations.
Over the next week you can absolutely expect the park to receive more and more holiday decorations, be sure to stay tuned from the latest holiday and Disneyland news and be sure to get social with us on Facebook and follow along with us on Twitter @BehindThrills for the latest updates!
