Universal Orlando is about to unleash something cool on the world. The first ever Water Theme Park! Today the park announced that they will be opening the new park on May 25th, just in time for Memorial Day Weekend. Tickets have been on sale for a while now, but this is the first we’ve heard of an official opening date!
The new park will feature about 15 new attractions, all based around the centerpiece Volcano, Krakatau. The new volcano will spew water during the day, and will spit out fire at night.
The new park will be split into four different sections-The Volcano, Wave Village, River Village and Rainforest Village. You’ll be able to rocket through the volcano on an amazing new water coaster. Plummet over the cliffs through death defying new drop slides, take in amazing roaring rapids, and even drift along the river and look up at the stars in hidden caverns. On top of that, Universal is unveiling it as the first park with no lines. A virtual wait system will give you time to enjoy some of the rest of the park, while waiting for an attraction.
We don’t know about you, but we are extremely excited for Volcano Bay!
