This year is undoubtedly the biggest year the Disneyland Resort ever now that both parks are getting transformed for the spookiest season of the year. One of the larger new additions includes hundreds of new decor pieces found within the park’s entry statement, Buena Vista Street. The largest being a large new centerpiece placed above the entry turnstiles featuring Oogie Boogie, hundreds of bats and a blood moon bright enough to keep you awake at night.
Inside you’ll find the Spanish inspired buildings of Buena Vista Street adored with hundreds more bats, purple banners and more traditional slightly scarier decorations than what fans might be used to across the esplanade.
Rock Candy Mountain has been partially replaced with a Halloween inspired Gingerbread house.
Speaking of Halloween treats, on Buena Vista Street you can find multi-colored Churros. They’re your standard churro taste-wise, but the colors add a little extra fun to the classic theme park treat.
Once you finally reach the end of the street you reach the brand new headless horsemen statue. One of the most popular new photo ops this Halloween.
Capping off the street is of course the Carthay Circle Theater which now proudly wears the Halloween purple banners with, yes, more bats appearing to fly out of the bell tower.
