Happy National Pets Day! I would like to say that today is the day that we take a little extra time to appreciate our pets, but they’re likely like mine, and spoiled to no end. Instead, check out the new trailer for The Secret Life of Pets 2.
The surprising thing about the first movie was just how much heart it ended up having. Things look to have changed a bit for our pet friends, as they now must deal with being attached to kids, fear and dealing with the vet. The first film was a huge hit, racking in over $875 million worldwide, on a $75 million dollar budget.
While we pretty much know just what we’re going to get with this series (pets getting into trouble when the owners aren’t around), this new entry has some really interesting new elements that we hope all work together for a heart filled adventure that’s better than the last time around.
In a related note, Universal Studios Hollywood has just announced (click here for the whole story) that they will be taking guests on a new ride with Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash in 2020.
Meanwhile, if you want some Secret Life of Pets action now, you can head to Universal Orlando for a glimpse at all the furry friends in the Superstar Parade, happening every day at Universal Studios Florida.
The Secret Life of Pets 2 will hit theaters on June 7th, 2019.
