Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservations opening soon at Disneyland, now available for hotel guests

The hype is coming to a head, and quickly. We are just over a month away from the opening of Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge. While there will just be one of the two rides available, it’ still going to be a super hot ticket. So hot, that Disneyland is limiting the amount of people in the land each day from May 31st-June 23rd.

The park will have a limited number of reservations each day for the new land, and you can begin getting your reservations on May 2 at 8 a.m. PT. Details will be released to Disneyland.com and the Disney Parks Blog. There is going to be a limited number of reservations available each day, and you’re going to have to have a valid theme park admission for that day. There’s no guarantee that just because you buy a ticket or have an annual pass for that day that you’ll get in.

However, if you want to guarantee your chances of getting in during those days, all you need to do is book a stay at one of the three onsite Disneyland hotels. You’ll be guaranteed access to Galaxy’s Edge on the days of your stay. Guests looking to guarantee a reservation to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge today can get one by staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel between May 31 and June 23, 2019. Click here to book your stay or call (714) 520-5060 now!

It’s going to be nuts, but it seems like Disneyland is at least expecting that, and hoping to calm down the insane crowds by offering the reservation system. Let’s hope that Walt Disney World in Florida learns from this and does the same thing, although with the insane number of hotel guests AND passholders, not to mention the daily ticket holders, that just seems like something they can’t do feasibly. Be prepared for madhouse crowds and long wait times in any case.
