Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is coming later this month to Disneyland. Of course there’s so much stuff happening with the new land that it’s kind of impossible to keep up on it all (at least for us anyway), but there’s some cool stuff that is just too cool to pass up.
First up is the fact that when you’re Bob Iger, bragging about your job comes with some pretty impressive company.
Best way to impress your friends…give them a personal tour of @starwars Galaxy’s Edge!#stevenspielberg, #jjabrams, Kathy Kennedy with Imagineer & Galaxy’s Edge creator, Scott Trowbridge. pic.twitter.com/e3jFH2Cd2b

I don’t know what I’m more jealous of, the fact that people are getting to see Galaxy’s Edge without huge crowds, or that Iger had J.J. Abrams, Kathleen Kennedy and Steven Spielberg in the land, rubbing elbows. Talk about amazing!
Next up, this is from way back at Star Wars Celebration, but one amazing thing you’re going to see in Galaxy’s Edge is Hondo Ohnaka, as he welcomes guests onto the Millennium Falcon. We have a very short sneak preview of the audio animatronic from the ride.
Finally, a brand new video has been released showcasing the Chess Room on the Millennium Falcon. It’s a 360 degree look at the actual ride area. While it doesn’t seem like that big of a deal, you have to realize that this isn’t a set, but the damn ride that you’ll be walking around in!
